The Winners of the Positive Content Contest 2012 Were Announced

November 1, 2012 the winners of the 4th Positive Content Contest of Websites for Children and Young People were announced. Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) became the organizational partner of the contest.

RU-CENTER, the Foundation for Internet Development and the Coordination Center for TLD RU became the organizers of the Positive Content Contest. The main goals of the contest are to find high-qualitative, interesting, educational and safe (both technically and in the sense of the content) websites for children and youth, as well as support and, thus, encourage the creation of new useful and positive websites, involving the ’younger’ Runet audience in the active life of the Web and beyond it.

This year the organizing committee of the Positive Content Contest received 799 applications, 222 of which were approved. The winner selection was held in several rounds by voting of the Youth Jury, expert bibliographers from all parts of Russia and the jury of the Contest.

After the final voting the Positive Content Contest winners were chosen in 6 major, 8 special and separate regional categories.

The winners of the Contest will be awarded on November 21 at the annual RUNET Awards Ceremony for the contribution to Russian Internet industry development.
