Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) was founded in 2011 to implement a system of initiatives
aimed at expanding the use of Internet in behalf of
Russian and international community.
As the Internet develops, the need for cooperation on the prevention of abuses in digital space such as spam, phishing, child abuse, botnets e.t.c. grows with it.
Realizing that to effectively counter abuses we need to coordinate our efforts, Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development and Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ executed Memorandum of cooperation in the cybersecurity field.
As of 01 December 2018, prices for registration, renewal and transfer of the third-level domain names in second-level domain names are to be adjusted.
Version 2.0 of the Addendum 2 to the Registry-Registrar Agreement is available under the "Policies"
20 June 2018 FAITID’s Special Project Manager Maxim Alzoba was elected as member of the Council of the ICANN’s Generic Names Supporting Organisation (GNSO) as a representative of the Registries Stakeholder Group (RySG) from Europe. His two-year term in the Council will begin after the end of ICANN Annual General Meeting 20 — 25 October, 2018.
