March 6-10, 2012 an annual СeBIT exhibition will be held in Hanover. CeBIT is the biggest international event about high technologies. The exhibition focuses on the broad range of visitors - all who are interested in or associated with the development of information, telecommunication and computer technologies. Traditionally, CeBIT plays an important role as an area for business meetings, searching for investors, signing contracts. Exhibitors are world-famous brands in high technology business as well as new companies that represent their products and services, which are going to win the market in the future.

CeBIT 2012 is divided into 4 platforms - the first is aimed at professionals (CeBIT Pro), the second is devoted to innovation (CeBIT Lab), the third is about the use of high technology in everyday life (CeBIT Life), and finally, the fourth is focused on the role of high-tech in public administration (CeBIT Gov).

This year Moscow City Government will take part in CeBIT with it’s own exhibition booth, showing achievements in the sphere of informatization of Russian capital. Moscow City Government plans some plenary sessions and round tables, where prospects for introduction of new technologies in Russian capital are going to be discussed.

Dmitry Burkov, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development, will take part in events of Moscow City Government at CeBIT 2012. At special session on the 7th of March he will present key project of the Foundation – introduction of .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА top-level domains and their further use as a basis for the unified information space of the city.

The session where .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА TLDs will be presented is scheduled for 7 March 2012 and will start at 11:00 at the booth of Moscow City Government.
