Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) has become an organization partner for the 19th RELARN-2012 Conference for regional research and education networks. This year the conference is going to be held in conjunction with the activities of the Electronic Future 2012 International Festival, organized by the Russian Agency for Information Society Development (RAISD).

The conference will be held May 29 - June 1 on the board of  the Georgy Zhukov ship that will follow the route Nizhny Novgorod – Cheboksary – Ulyanovsk – Tolyatti – Kazan - Nizhny Novgorod.

It is planned to organize a number of events at RELARN-2012 conference involving the President of the Foundation Alexander Panov and the Chairman of the FAITID Board Dmitry Burkov:

• Section for the safe Internet: challenges, threats, response options
• Section for basic trends of the global and Russian domain industry development. the era of New gTLD

June 1 (the Children's Day), the FAITID Board will participate in the opening ceremony of the Positive Content 2012 Contest at the RELARN-2012 conference. Last year the Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development has been co-organizer of this annual national competition aimed at searching and supporting the best online-resources for children and teenagers.
