September 1, 2012, during the Moscow City Day FAITID is organizing the City gTLDs Festival. This idea was supported by the dotCities Interest Group that unites projects for city top-level domains.

The Festival will take place in two areas: the Tsaritsyno Museum and Reserve in Moscow and Troitsk - a town that has become a part of the territory of Moscow in July within the program for the city’s expansion.

The goal of the Festival is to present the peculiarities of the world's megacities and to show, which cities are going to get their own domains in the near future. The Festival will be held in support of the .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА implementation, the initiative FAITID is responsible for.

At the Festival the participants will find many contests, quizzes and prizes. Everyone will be able to play the popular Chinese game “Fukuvari”, London mini-golf, Parisian “Pétanque”, Chicago-style basketball as well as to fight with vacuum guns, build cities and test geographic knowledge. Those who will cope with the competitions will get some nice gifts.
