Members of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) voted for the FAITID membership in the organisation.

The cooperation between the Foundation and RAEC began long time before this event. Previously, FAITID Board members took part in the activities of REAC Committees and provided an expert support for the development of the proposals for the legislation improvements in the Internet industry. Matvey Alekseev, FAITID CEO, has been the Head of the hosting-provider and domain registrar commission for two years, with the participation of which several industry documents were developed and adopted.

The Chairman of the Foundation’s Board, Dmitry Burkov described the future of this cooperation as follows: “RAEC is a unique organization. It is the largest representative of the industry that serves as an intermediary between online business and government. I am sure that RAEC together with the experience of our experts will bring a unique effect that will make our work more productive.”
