October 23-24, the 4th Meeting of the Eurasia Network Operators’ Group (ENOG 4), an international event focused on discussion of technological and organizational aspects of the Internet, took place in Moscow. The event was organized by the RIPE NCC and the Technical Center for the Internet.

More than 300 representatives of companies and organizations related to the Internet address space allocation and technological as well as administrative aspects of the Internet management process took part in the Meeting.

Presentations made at the conference were devoted to the introduction of IPv6 and DNSSEC, the problems of IPv4 address space distribution, issues of the Internet administrative regulation.

In particular, Dmitry Burkov, Chairman of the FAITID Board introduced the participants of the event the key legislative initiatives aimed at the prevention of the illegal content spread on the Internet and measures against violations of intellectual property rights on the Internet.

Vasily Dolmatov, the member of the FAITID Board, also took part in the ENOG Meeting. He made presentation on the OpenFlow – technology of the processing management of the data transmitted over computer networks.
