On June 1, 2013, FAITID organised Children in Runet event at the Saint Petersburg Zoo. The event became a part of the International Day for Protection of Children and the Federal Start of Positive Content – a contest for the developers and owners of websites aimed at children, teenagers and youth.

The event included creative games and a drawing contest: kids were asked to draw pictures for screensavers related to the zoo’s fauna. Each participant got gifts from FAITID, pencils, a comic strip about safe use of the Internet and a leaflet called “If you’re lost, the Net will help you” produced by “Do Not Tolerate!” organisation.

More than 200 drawings were submitted during the drawing contest.

FAITID representatives also became the hosts of the concert organised on the central stage of the zoo.
