On April 21, 2015 12.00 p.m. (MSK), Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) launches domain name registration in 71 RU.NET+ TLDs, including: COM.RU, SPB.RU, MSK.RU, and others.

According to the decision made during the roundtable discussion with registrars that took place last Friday, the launch of RU.NET domain name registration will be deferred until May 20, 2015.

Third-level domain name registration in the abovementioned TLDs for a period of 1-10 years will be available for anyone (residents and non-residents of Russia, individuals and legal entities). Domain names in RU.NET+ TLDs are registered through accredited registrars.

The multi-level domain registration system FLEXible Internet REGistry (Flexireg), developed to provide technical functions of the registry for domains of any level in accordance with up-to-date standards, will furnish the technical side of domain registration process.
