18-20 April 2012 in Moscow Region the RIF+CIB annual conference took place – the main event about Internet Industry in Russia. More than 5 thousand participants took part in the forum. Dmitry Medvedev, President of Russia, welcomed the attendees of the event.

At the first day of the conference a session on domain name industry trends was held. During the session DNS security issues were discussed as well as domain name appraisal and perspectives of new Russian top-level domains implementation within the ICANN New gTLD Program.
