ICANN will announce the initial evaluation results for the first applications for new TLDs in March 2013, while the target date for the approval of the first new gTLDs' delegation is April 23. ICANN has made great progress to start the delegation process for the new gTLDs, but there are some things the corporation cannot control that may cause the delegation date to slip, said ICANN President and CEO Fadi Chehadé.
