As a .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА Registry Operator (Administrator), Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development (FAITID) accredits organizations as registrars of second-level domain names in .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА.

Any legal entity (organization) may become a .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА registrar, not only a resident of the Russian Federation.

Such legal entity must be an ICANN-accredited registrar and have a 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement (or a later version thereof if approved by ICANN) signed with ICANN.

If a registrar intends to provide domain name registration services during these periods:

• Sunrise Registration Period
• Limited Registration Period I (for owners of trademarks and service marks)
• Limited Registration Period II (for specific categories of users)
• Trademark Claims Period

it must successfully complete the certification testing for the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH).

.MOSCOW and .МОСКВА registrar accreditation procedure:

1. Submit an application here.

2. Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with FAITID.

   The form of this agreement will be provided by FAITID.

3. Sign a .MOSCOW and .MOCKВА Registry-Registrar Agreement with FAITID.

   The form of this agreement will be provided by FAITID.

4. Complete the operational test and evaluation^*.

   Operational Test and Evaluation Certification Policy and Specifications for Registrars' Interaction with the Domain Registration System are available in the section .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА Domain Name Registration Policies.

5. After successfully completing the operational test and evaluation and setting up registrar's registration system, get access to the .MOSCOW and .MOCKВА Registry.

6. Make an initial advance payment.

7. Start performing the functions of a domain name registrar for .MOSCOW and .MOCKВА.
