Board Member of the Foundation for Assistance for Internet Technologies and Infrastructure Development. Elena Gertseva graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute (today called Moscow State Mining University) and from the Faculty of Law of the Moscow State University (with cum laude degree). Elena is a member of the Moscow Bar Association; she specializes on domain protection cases.

Elena has been working in the field of Internet law since 1995. She used to work with Garant-Park, Russian Institute for Public Networks (RIPN) and Russia's largest domain name registrar RU-CENTER.
